Terms of Service

This is the agreement between you and VoltLogger — kept short, because terms exist to be read.

What VoltLogger is

VoltLogger is a service by InternetVentures.nl B.V. (Maliebaan 53z, 3581 KJ Utrecht, the Netherlands, KvK 42096721). The app reads your trips and charging sessions from your car through the official Tesla Fleet API and automatically builds a mileage and charging record from them, which you can view and export via the web app and the iOS app.

Independent of Tesla

VoltLogger is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla and the related model names are trademarks of Tesla, Inc.; we use them only to describe which cars VoltLogger works with and the official Tesla Fleet API the app reads through.

Record-keeping, not advice

VoltLogger keeps your records — it gives no tax advice. Whether your log meets the requirements in your situation is assessed case by case by your tax authority; confirm your position with your accountant. We promise an accurate, complete record — not a tax outcome.

Your account and your data

The data in your records is and remains yours; you can export it at any time (see also the privacy policy). You remain responsible for the content: correctly categorising trips (business/private) and reviewing your records before you rely on them. Keep your login credentials to yourself.

Subscription and payment

You try VoltLogger free for 7 days, no credit card needed. After that it costs €5.90 per month or €59 per year via the website. In the iOS app, payment runs entirely through Apple (€1.49 per week or €59 per year, shown in your local currency in the App Store); renewal and cancellation are managed in your Apple account settings, and Apple's purchase terms apply alongside these. A web subscription can be cancelled at any time and runs until the end of the paid period. Price changes are announced in advance — never retroactively.

Availability

VoltLogger depends on the Tesla Fleet API. If your car is offline for a long stretch or Tesla has an outage, a record may arrive late or show a gap. The service is built for that (every trip is anchored to the odometer, so gaps are visible rather than hidden), but nobody can promise 100% availability — so neither do we.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for VoltLogger in the 12 months before the incident. We are not liable for indirect damages, including tax reassessments or fines — the record is a tool; responsibility for your tax filing stays with you. These limitations do not apply where mandatory law (including consumer law) overrides them, or in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness.

Termination

You can stop at any time: cancel your subscription and delete your account (one email to support@voltlogger.com is enough — export your data first). We may terminate an account for abuse of the service, with a reasonable window to export your data.

Changes

We may change these terms as the service evolves. For a material change we'll notify you in advance; if you disagree, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court of the Midden-Nederland district court, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
