About VoltLogger
VoltLogger is a mileage log for Tesla drivers that takes trips and charging sessions straight from the car. Built in Utrecht, the Netherlands, because the founder needed one himself.
Who is behind it
Sander van Meggelen is an internet entrepreneur and investor from Utrecht, the Netherlands. He founded Vergelijkgroep in 2007 and built a series of Dutch comparison websites, consolidated under Keuze.nl in 2020. He studied Business Informatics at Utrecht University and is the founder of IWD Holding B.V.
He drives a Tesla himself. For his own mileage log and home-charging claims he found only apps that needed the phone or a box in the car, so he built VoltLogger: trips come from the car itself and are checked against the odometer. He builds the app and writes the guides on this site.
